Behavioral Success
In this one-day training, participants learn how to view trauma-based behaviors (e.g., violence, aggression, withdrawal, self-harm, etc.) using our Behavioral Success™ framework, which includes the latest research on trauma, motivation, neurobiology, and best practices from behavior theory. From this framework, participants will learn how to develop action plans that can help clients gain the skills necessary to achieve success.

- Identify psychological, biological, and social functions that promote unwanted behavior.
- Identify how to use internal and external motivation to jump start the behavioral change process.
- Practice developing trauma-informed action plans that can help promote successful behavioral change.
Approach
Behavioral Success™ is a highly experiential workshop that blends presentations and real-world case examples that are used to help participants apply concepts to behavioral treatment planning. Attendees will complete this course feeling competent to begin using these skills to help their people reach their goals.
Behavioral Success™ is designed for all organizational personnel, including administrators, educators, therapists, and other service professionals. It is highly recommended for residential treatment centers, schools, and mental health practitioners.
Training occurs over one day.
Schedule 9:00am – 4:30pm (with one hour for lunch). Daily schedule times can be adapted if necessary.
In-Person: Your organization can schedule private booking and is responsible for providing a location conducive to adult learning.
Online: This training can be held entirely online via video conference.
